While on the TBEX chinatown tour, i discovered the most quant & adorable part of Toronto. The memorable part of Toronto is called Kensington Market.
Kensington Market is a little neighborhood located in Downtown Toronto off of Spadina & Dundas. The neighborhood is filled with quirky shops, yummy food, & mind blowing graffiti/ art.
My first stop in Kensington Market was the Patty King. The menu was daunting at first but i knew i had to try out one of these patties, for the first time. I got the goat patty. Yes, goat. I was surprised as well. The outside was flaky & delicious, while the inside was warm & savory.
Throughout the neighborhood, there are more than enough vintage shops to fill an entire wardrobe.
The next food stop is the Burgernator. This burger shop offers a slew of creative burgers along with yummy dipping sauces & fries. I got the Big Bang. Its a burger patty with…. CHICKEN STRIPS!!!! So delicious. The staff is so sweet & the shop is actually ran by a family. You can see them cooking your food right behind the tills. This is a must stop if you want a delicious, unique, & filling meal.
If you want to go into a shop that is the epitome of Jessica Day, go to Good Egg. It is the only shop of its kind & it’s filled with various quirky items. Everything from cook books to cookie wallets, it has everything your adorable heart could imagine.
Finally, my favorite bakery on the face of the planet. My Market Bakery. All i have to say is that i want to bottle up the smell of this bakery & the rum balls make me so happy.
Have you been to Kensington Market? What was your favorite part?
